Finally windows 8 is arrive to market and is available every where. And i just upgrade my window 7 to windows 8 for better feature and nice look than the other windows. The process of upgrading is not smooth so be careful when you do any step further to upgrade your window.

All the software and program work much better in windows 8 and the built-in Windows Store offers a plethora of new full-screen “apps” to choose from. And the searching is very easy and friendly from desktop if you search for any kind of program or software. the UI feels more snappy and the system will boot faster. There is no need to install a separate anti-virus program as Windows Defender is already installed in Windows 8.

Remember one thing in your mind if you didn't use windows 8 before so it will be little bit complicated for you for the first time to use it. So don't worry and don't confuse it will take one or two day that you get a full command on windows 8, And It's much different than the other windows version.

 

Upgrading to Windows 8 – Step by Step Guidance

If you are also planning to switch to Windows 8 , here are 3 things you must need:
  1. A Windows machine running Windows 7, Vista and Windows XP. It doesn’t matter if you have computer is running Windows XP Premium or Windows 7 Home Basic.

  2. A valid credit card or a PayPal account to pay the upgrade fee – you bewill be required to pay $39.99 for the Windows 8 Professional edition.

  3. An internet connection for downloading the Windows 8 installer size is (2.05 GB). You may also order the Windows 8 installer on a DVD though it may not be necessary as it is quite easy to create your own Windows 8 DVD.

Also, your existing application or software install on your computer will be preserved if are upgrading from windows XP, windows VISTA or windows 7 to windows 8. So all your previous files and data will be preserved and you have install it again after upgrading to windows 8.

Next step is you need to order your windows 8 pack right inside the installation wizard. So you have to choose checkout option, enter your credit detail and other necessary step which is required to order your windows 8. And the next screen will show you windows product key so don't need to have write it down on piece of paper. Because Microsoft will also send a receipt of your order and the Windows serial number to your email address.
Don't worry and feel free to go to the next step.

IMPORTANT : What your are buying is the Upgrade Licensee that will work only on your existing machine on which you are doing the upgrade right now. And this windows 8 license  will not work on other machine if you want to Upgrade. If you wish to install Windows 8 from scratch on a new hard disk, you need the System Builder that may not be available at all locations.


Next the upgrade assistant will downloading the windows 8  installer file on your computer. This process may take a while because it will download 2 GB of files to your computer from Microsoft server.

TIP : If you have better internet speed like 500 mb or greater so it will take less time. And will save you much time.

NOTE : The Windows 8 installer files are stored in the C:\ESD\Windows\Sources folder – it’s hidden so you may not find it inside Windows Explorer.


Once the installer files are download to your computer you can continue to your setup for installing windows 8 OR you can pick the second option that says, “Install by creating media.” Here you can save the Windows 8 installer files in a single ISO file and then from the wizard itself burn the ISO image into a bootable DVD. if you want to burn your own windows 8 setup. This may come handy later when you want to repair or reinstall Windows 8 later but you must have to deleted the installer flies from the disk to free up disk space.


Once the DVD is ready, double-click the Windows Setup shortcut (you’ll find it on your desktop) to run the setup again.

You can either do a clean install and choose “Nothing” or use the “Windows settings, personal files and apps” option to preserve your files as well as programs (recommended).  Also  if you choose “Nothing,” your personal files (anything saved inside the User folder and on the desktop) will be moved to a windows.old folder. And you can find this folder in your desirable partition in which you install your windows.

Choose the first “Install Now” option and Windows 8 will finish installing itself. Simple!
